The Leela Palace New Delhi

New Delhi, India

Inspired Timeless Elegance

This South Delhi hotel is located on three prime acres adjacent to the Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi, India. This 211-key luxury hotel contains oversized guestrooms and service apartments. The seven-story building is organized around a 1,000 SM function lawn, supported by an additional 585 SM of banquet facilities and five food and beverage outlets, a rooftop infinity-edge swimming pool and a 549 SM spa and fitness center. The property includes spa suites including whirlpool balconies, as well as a well-appointed Maharaja Suite.

The design of the hotel is reminiscent of the classic refined residential palaces found in North India, as well as the architectural queues found in the work of Sir Edwin Lutyens in the Parliament Building and the Hyderabad House, incorporating colonnades, an interesting intersection of spaces and playful architectural features.

The luxury hotel property consists of a 42,300 SM development including a 24,810 SM hotel and 17,490 SM of parking for 547 automobiles in three basements.

Interior design services illustrated were provided by KNA Interior Design and DesignWilkes.

"Delhi is a dream come true and today is a great joy for all of us. We also thank you for your vision and talent."
