This renovation of a century-old historic building includes the design of a new connecting tenant structure aesthetically compatible with existing building. Work included restoration of the brick rooftop cupola; application of brick and stucco facade with period fixtures; and redesign of the lobby area to a more historic appearance. Managed and coordinated structural repairs and modifications, as well as upgraded HVAC and power requirements, brought the building into code compliance. This project exemplifies a process of adaptive reuse.
