Sandy Springs Gateway is a mixed use development consisting of 120,000 SF boutique retail shops, fine dining restaurants, second-floor office space and luxury residential apartments. Master planning was provided for the development and architectural design services for the retail portions. There is a centrally located pedestrian plaza space that incorporates areas for outdoor gathering and alfresco dining that caters to the restaurants.
Landscape Architectural Guidelines were developed by SRSS for the Master Plan to provide a consistent overall aesthetic that was in keeping with the urban concept. Using those guidelines, SRSS performed basic landscape architectural services for the retail portion of the project to further develop the outdoor environment into a walkable and activated space that brings life and energy to this urbanized neighborhood center.
