This 42,000 SF regional headquarters includes accounting, human resources, marketing and Internet technology groups. Services included initial programming with an emphasis on current Brand Identity and Corporate Culture. The final design approach had its foundation in concepts discovered in this exercise. Much emphasis was placed on the project economics and how best to translate a design concept within a very conservative budget.
Comcast wanted the design to convey a new, more dynamic image through the use of clean, contemporary architecture and brand emphasis. The elevator lobby features a full-length supergraphic abstract image of cabling, derived from the company identity. A three-dimensional glass identity wall is featured in the reception area.
