Occupying a full city block in Wuxi, China, this mixed use development features a five-star Crowne Plaza Hotel, luxury serviced apartments and Class “A” office space. The hotel and office space are located in a 40-story tower, while the serviced apartments are located in an adjacent 44-story tower. Both towers are anchored by a four-story retail podium with the roof serving as an amenity terrace for the hotel and apartments. Building services and parking are accommodated by a three-level basement.
The compact and efficient footprint of the building allows approximately one-half of the site to be developed as a landscaped urban plaza. With decorative paving, water features, and extensive green space, the plaza acts as a grand entrance to the project and provides a significant amenity to the city. The site includes a large urban green buffer with a total of 24-hectare. It is located near the Tai Lake (Taihu).
