Jakarta's Towering Oasis of Office Space in a Green Park Setting

The 53-story Millennium Centennial Center provides 95,000 SM Strata Title office space in a 148,800 SM development in Jakarta’s financial district.  Situated on a 1-hectare park-like setting along Jakarta’s principal business boulevard, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, the tower is set back from the main artery, creating a welcome break in the rhythm of the cavern-like wall of adjacent towers. Near corporate headquarters, financial institutions, and government offices, the development connects directly to the city’s new mass-transit metro line.

The tower sits back, nestled in a lush green garden setting. The concise floor plan utilizes double-deck passenger elevators to minimize the overall footprint of the building on the site while maximizing the floor plate efficiency. The lobby-level proportions with a large expanse of glass, create an experience like that of arriving at the base of a forest, with colors and materials that reinforce the Owner’s desire to have a botanical oasis within the heart of the city.

The project was redeveloped on a site that previously contained two office towers, the 16-story CIBM Plaza and the 24-story Sequis Plaza.
